Boost engagement and sales during the Easter season by creating a fun, interactive experience that increases website sessions, email sign‑ups, promo code usage, and customer satisfaction.

šŸ“ Campaign Overview

To avoid another holiday season with only promo codes offered, we decided to create an engaging and interactive promotional experience for the Easter period. We designed and implemented an Online Easter Egg Hunt across our client’s Shopify store. We strategically placed hidden egg-shaped popups on various pages across the website to encourage exploration and reward users with promo codes.

šŸ› ļø How It Worked

1. Hidden Popups Across the Website
- An email was sent out to subscribers announcing the Easter Egg Hunt, and sharing some hints about where they can find the special rewards.
- Custom Easter‑themed popups were set up across the website (specific product pages, blog posts and collections).
- Each popup revealed a unique discount code when found, ranging from 10%‑25% off.
2. Engagement Tracking
- We used Klaviyo to set up the popups and track popup views and engagement rates, and monitored the Klaviyo campaign data to track performance.
3. Promotion Delivery
- Once a user revealed an Easter egg, they received a promo code on‑screen.
- Promo codes were tied directly to Shopify checkout for seamless use.

+51% web page visits during campaign
$53.04 AOV
$3550 generated from a list of 4000 subscribers.

- Gamification drives exploration: Customers spent longer on the site searching for interactive elements.
- Targeted email flows increase conversion: Automated Klaviyo messages helped re‑engage users who didn’t check out immediately.
